Zeravla Entertainment & Anjelique announce latest visual for “Amor Traicionero”
Anjelique & Sweet City Band are excited to announce their latest music video release for “Amor Traicionero”. The visual was filmed by the award-winning videographer, Ryan Bazan, in Anjelique’s hometown of Sweetwater, TX. The video features a collaboration with the infamous Grupo Estrella saxophone players, Robert “Shy Boy” Gutierrez and Stevan Ruiz.
“We wanted to pay homage to the inspiration that Grupo Estrella had on us as Tejano artist”, stated Anjelique, “and what better way than to feature them on our newest LP with the song Amor Traicionero.”
Stevan said, “Working with Anjelique & Sweet City Band on this new release was a great pleasure and lots of fun. The making of the recording, video, and working with the Sweet City Band was an honor and as always…Fun! Congratulations to Anjelique & Sweet City Band, wishing them all the best."
Robert mentioned, “We instantly knew and agreed that “Amor Traicionero” was going to be a hit when we heard the big intro, the driving bass line, the rhythmic drums. Recording the video was the icing on the cake! Thank you to Anjelique & Sweet City Band for a great experience and their professionalism.”
The song was written by Esteven Cerda, accordion player for the Sweet City Band & Steve Lujan and was produced by Jimmy Garcia, drummer for Sweet City Band.
